A few
good questions.

Visit support
Does SceneMason work offline?

Yes. Normal screenplay writing works offline, with files stored locally. Internet access may occasionally be needed for license activation or validation, checkout, updates and support.

Where are my screenplays stored?

SceneMason saves local .sm files in the folder you choose on your computer. Local recovery copies and backups provide additional protection; they don’t replace your manual saves.

Does SceneMason upload my screenplay?

SceneMason’s writing workflow keeps screenplay content on your computer and does not require cloud screenplay storage. Licensing and payment services are separate from your screenplay files.

How many devices can I use?

The Monthly plan supports 1 device. The Annual plan supports 2 devices. Both include the same screenplay-writing tools.

Can I cancel, and are updates included?

You can cancel your recurring subscription. All SceneMason updates are included while you’re subscribed. Billing details are available at checkout.

Which platforms are supported?

The initial release is a native Windows desktop application. No macOS or mobile version is being offered.
